A thoughtful and moving short story. The characters are reasonably well defined through their dialogue. Rather than push his point of view the author leaves it up to you to ponder the rightness or wrongness of the story's conflict.

In these days of cheap (and indeed free) eBooks this is a gem. Strong characters, tight dialogue and a wonderfully weird storyline make this an irresistible read.
