Biography

Tirell Alexander Maxwell Clifton I was born in Newark, New Jersey, on April 16, 1969. During his adult life, he has amassed experience in different occupations, including bookkeeping, courier, telephone repair technician, and school bus driver. He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the International Theological University of Pasadena, California (1998 and 2000), and was ordained as an independent minister on February 14, 2001. Shortly afterwards, he formed Broken Shackles Ministries in Orange, New Jersey, and made his target audience the entire world by putting the ministry on the Internet.

He currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland. He is
married to LaWanda Cox-Clifton, and is the father of one daughter (Cherish) and two sons (Lawrence, and Tirell II), and the grandfather of a little girl (Makylah).
