Biography
Aliyat Lecky grew up in Oakland, CA, the 6the of 7 siblings raised by a single mother. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from Sonoma State University, in CA. Additionally, she earned an MA in Curriculum and Instruction and an Ed S in Educational Leadership from the university of St. Thomas in Minnesota, where she is enrolled in a doctoral program. Currently she resides in Florida where she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on other writing projects
