This urban fantasy vampire novel would fit very well in a young adult reading list. The story is set in a teenagers' world of high school, house parties, the popular crowd picking on the outcast/less-than-perfects, etc. But even within this very familiar environment the books focus on teenage vampire love and acceptance paints a fresh picture for readers to immerse themselves into. There is fast paced action and enough nice intimate details to keep a reader engaged and wanting to know what is going to happen next to the young vampire couple and the hunter determined to get in the middle.
