I J Black

Biography

I hate bios. How do you sum yourself up for people you’ve never met in a few words? I live for Amnar, for this world. It has endless possibilities and pathways, and I could spend all day in it. It’s as real as the real world, occasionally more so.

This is how I create: I just wander around the world and look at something and think: “Hey, that’s fascinating, but how does that work in Amnar?”

I keep reading and reading. I dream of being able to write with the grace of Haruki Murakami, sing like Azam Ali and dance all the time I’m not writing. I probably talk far too much for one person.
