Publisher info

Hullo! My pen name is Amy Laine (those of who know me, know better than that), and I write almost anything like fanfiction, fantasy, or normal day life stuff. I love to play Volleyball and I run Track & Field as well. I'm currently working on a story (actually 2) and while I MAY publish them on here I've been writing to Tumblr, epubbud and Fiction Press more often. Feel free to stop by and watch me at:

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I first started writing from the moment I picked up a pencil. I never passed a pencil without picking it up and trying to scribble meaningless words. To others, they were nothing but to me it was a passion. I actually started to make books in the second grade, starting off with drawings and putting letters next to them. Even then, I knew that if I continued I'd get so much better! In second grade Butterfly Blue and his adventures began, with Gushy the bird and soon followed my first mystery books: The Hunt for ______.
I go back and read them sometimes, it makes me feel stronger sometimes. ;) And then of course, I go back and read stories from last year and say "I can do so much better. How did I publish this?" But I still love them, but I know I have it in me to write much much better!
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind it is, I was driving back from skiing and it was late out and I just started thinking about some ideas. It started off with me and my friend talking about her falling off a cliff and then just like that we started brainstorming. I don't know if this idea will be used in the actual book T.H.U.N.D.E.R but I promise it will be a CLIFF HANGER

  • Island Shore on Feb. 24, 2013

Gabion: two words- shut up. This is a good story, the plot is awesome. Say something nice for once >:(
  • 17 hours on March 15, 2013

Once again, I will tell you (AGAIN) Gabion, you need to get a life and quit ragging on young authors. No way, is anyone going to be successful if you beat them down. Say something nice, or don't say anything at all. End of discussion. (P.S Shakespear and JK Rowling are fine. Just because they are good, doesn't mean other people don't deserve 5 stars too. And just for that, I give her another five stars so shut up.)
  • Strikers Book Five: A New Awakening on March 15, 2013

Taylor, hon why didn't you tell me about this before?! I was like reading this all curled up on my couch, unable to put it down. ;) Wonderful work. Honestly, get the next book done already! P.S I think you're writing really has improved since your first book. (That's a compliment.)
