This is a short novella of approximately 100 pages. It takes a hold of you right from the start and keeps you hooked until the end. I finished this in less than a day and if I had the time to sit would have read it in one sitting of maybe an hour or so. Overall, it seems we...ll researched and well written and it reminds me of a documentary I once saw on PBS. This is the first book I read by this author, who has mainly written chick-lit, which this book definitely is not. It is not a comfortable book to read, but once you start reading you want to keep reading. It is quite sad to think many girls in poor countries (even in Europe) are tricked and forced into this.
