Andi Lea was born in Northwestern Ohio and raised in Southern California near the Pacific Ocean somewhere between Disneyland and Hollywood. After adventuring around North America like a gypsy, with three plucky kids, Andi went back to college. She earned a degree in American Culture with a focus on film and gender studies. Failing miserably at being bi-coastal, she swapped one coast for the other, and now lives nestled between the Appalachian and the Blue Ridge Mountains near Washington, DC. She lives with three kids, three cats, one dog, a gay muse, and a cast of characters in her head.

Andi has been writing since she learned to form letters on paper. Self-publishing her first book in elementary school, she gave away free copies to friends and family. While adventuring around the continent Andi opened a private online community devoted to erotic fiction. In 2001, Andi and a few lusty friends began entertaining readers with tales of people going bump in the night, in the day, or in odd places. After spending several years of offering up free online fiction, The Garden of Thorns, closed its virtual doors.

Never one to shy away from new experiences Andi has worked in the entertainment industry, a domestic violence shelter, owned her own business, was a beauty school drop-out, and held several other odd jobs. Shucking the day job routine, Andi has been able to devote herself to writing full-time. Currently she is channeling her creative energies into writing and publishing LGBTQ fiction.
