Sentence of Marriage (Promises to Keep: Book 1) on July 02, 2012

I was a bit worried when I first started reading this one, but I'm so glad I kept with it. This is one story that will stick with me for quite a while. I have to admit that I kept waiting for the happy ending. Each time something happened, I kept waiting for the good things to start happening. I'm still waiting. This is a bit disappointing because now I HAVE to get the second book, but I'm really glad it wasn't the same old romance story. It's nice to have a story that's closer to real life for a change -- there isn't always a happy ending and sometimes, you have to simply be thankful for what you have. Overall, it left me feeling quite sad and reflective, but that's a good thing! It's how you know it was worth the time to read.
