Amanda Ackers and The Deep Forest Elves
on Jan. 04, 2012
I downloaded yesterday morning and am now almost half way through. This is a terrific story! I've recommended it to some friends already. The book is huge, but I'm already hooked! I'll have to read your short stories when I'm finished with this.
The Shortcut

This was a great short story! Needing to do a story in only 600 words is quite a challenge, and this author did it very well. I could feel the cold within the fog, and the fright they felt. A great twist ending too. Love those!
The End Of Time

This is a really great short story with a very surprising ending! The ending totally took me by surprise and I had to reread the story again, and found myself nodding with a smile. Very well done!
The Encounter

Don't know how I missed this author, but an author I like wrote and said to take a look. I'm glad he did. This is a wonderful short story. This is one I'd like to see as a novel, as other reviewers have mentioned. Very good writing. I look forward to more.
A Night Meeting

Love how the author combined humor with suspense in a very unusual circumstance. Very well done.
A Night for Questions and Answers

Tom I really liked this story. Like another review, I too would like to see longer versions. While really good, there is just enough to get interested in, then it ends. Your book "Encounter" was wonderful. You have got to either make that into a novel, or longer versions of a continuing story. Would much rather see a novel, or even a novel series of that one.
Amanda Ackers and The Realm Of The Witches

Awesome! I love the Amanda Ackers series. I am a stay at home mom and read a lot! I loved the Harry Potter series, but I'm hooked on Amanda and her friends in this series now. I loved the first book of the series, once I got used to all the italics, understanding that is simply the writing style of the High Elves. But this book is truly awesome. Not only are there great adventures, but we learn why Amanda was able to do all the amazing things she had in book one. I'm getting the impression that there is a great deal more to Amanda than we know at this point. I rarely get so involved with the characters in a story, but, I feel very close to Amanda and her friends. They have become so real to me, I feel I actually know them. Loved this book and have recommended the series to dozens of friends.
The Doctor, the Angel, and the Demon

Another great story from Mr. Staver. A story mixed with humor and food for thought. For me, the decision would be an easy one, but for my brother? Well, that’s another story ;) Fun story and a break from Tom’s others, which I really like. Looking forward to more. Sill want to see "Encounter" turned into a longer story or novel, to see if he ever find the girl again.
