Biography

After an extremely interesting nursing career, the author is now very happily retired.In the last 20 years she has experienced many adventure holidays: cycling safaris in Kenya and Tanzania, she climbed Kilimanjaro, trekked in the Himalaya, the Atlas Mountains, the Peruvian Andes, the Transylvanian Alps and the Wall of China.In 2002 she won first prize with her 1932 Austin Ten (Gypsy) doing Lands End to John Groats for Christian Aid.She presents public slide shows about her travels, is involved in church activities, plays �cello in a local orchestra and enjoys gardening and her cat.
