Biography

A. Batena Johnson is an educator in Savannah, Georgia with an Ed. S in education from Nova Southeastern University. She is also a first time author who strongly believes in charity work and supporting education. Johnson worked in the medical field in Metro Atlanta for ten years before shifting her career to education. She grew up in a small rural town with little recreation which eventually led to her avid love of reading and writing.

What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest book is inspired by true experiences as well as fictitious accounts with a twist of humor and genuineness. "Still I Forgive You" is written to help people look beyond the faults of people who wronged them and to release forgiveness upon them, even if they are deceased. The book is also cited with biblical references to help them receive blessings that are promised to them.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I was motivated to become an indie author after visiting smashwords.com and listening to the audio about book pricing and sales.
