I really enjoyed reading this book. Who were the people trying to kidnap her? She is a rich heiress, she was almost kidnapped, is there a connection? Grayson's dad keeping an eye on her is basically stalking, why wasn't she more upset? As much as i enjoyed this read, i had a few questions i would have liked answered. As an avid reader, it all fell into place in my head as the story seems like pure escapism. Are u a young adult by any chance, if u r, then i can't wait to read when u r more mature, it'll be brilliant. Good luck. PS, where're the other stories

I really enjoyed the book apart from the abrupt ending. I think that Sam did take the cowards way out, strength isnt about running away, its about being strong in the face adversity.

I dont want to seem ungrateful, but it's absolutely annoying when u are reading a very good book and then it ends just as u get to another good bit AND u have absolutely no idea of when the next book will be out. It IS a very good book and i only witheld the last star bcos i need to wait for the next one. i mean, really!

This is a truly wonderful story. I really enjoyed it and would love to get to read the rest of the trilogy. Thank you for an amazing experience. I checked the time at 10.05pm and the next time i surfaced was shockingly at exactly 1am, not many books has had that effect on me. Really wonderful.

It was a good story as firsts go, i'm guessing it picks up even more in the coming sequels. Fans of David Eddings would really enjoy this series. i'm going hunting for the others. Pls put them on smashwords, thanks.

No matter the ecstasy, it was still non-consensual. Rape is rape no matter how u look at it. I'm in a bit of a quandary because, the book was good but morally ????? I believe the book could be fleshed out so the story doesn't look as bad as it does currently (y'kno, an officer of the law sexually overpowering a person trying unsuccesfully to hold herself together after a nasty experience - it just don't look good). Write in a scene before the pleasure begins, give it abit more story, give an indication of some sort that she wants him.

This book could be so much better. It was all jumbled and clashy. She was supposedly independent but she was so easily abused. Emily and Jake were so close in uni but when they met again they were like total strangers. Even if they hadn't seen each other in ten years, that connection would always be there and would show. Grant was a "conman" but was so violent, what was the motive behind the violence? Grant did not make any sense and could have easily been left out of the book. Grant made Emily look like an idiot. In a relationship it can be difficult with abuse but being a strong independent woman , if is most unlikely for a woman to allow it again especially when they are not in a relationship. This book needs some work.

It's 4am and I've just finished reading this book. OMG, it's amazing. I started reading at about half 9 and I couldn't put it down. I hope the next one is just round the corner, I can't wait. The rapport, the training, the fighting, the togetherness, it all just comes together so beautifully. I love it, I love it, arrgghhh.
