  At least the author's got reviews. Something many of us are dying for. It's a short story but i was pretty disappointed with its organisation. Punctuation was very bad. Hopefully you'll learn from this.

  A very different brand of horror not unlike a zombie but much more horrifying. The first book of this author I've read and I was wowed. If it'd been a 50,000 word novel and for sale, then yeah, it would've been 5 stars from me. Definitely. Eagerly Looking forward to more.

  Pretty original. Ok, a lot of original. Somehow, Jerry has told a fantastic story using the fewest words he could where each one of them pulls in your attention and pulls you right through the story. A lot of gore here, there, everywhere. It's a good short. Well done, sir.

  I was fascinated: to begin with. It's a very creative parody of the brilliant Christmas Tale by Dickens. Of course no one tells A Christmas Tale better than he does, Jerry did a mighty good job. Made me laugh, made me think, made me go over it, once and once again(haven't got the ending though). Good book. And a quick read.

  Review For Poetic Reflections: Keep The Heart Of A Child Ah, what a collection, what a compendium of verses and lyrics and intelligent craziness. All of life's abstractions, wisdom, fact, fear, instructions, guidance brought together under the unique hand, and voice, of Lori R. Lopez. I enjoyed it from the start, bookmarked really important poems so I can read them as over again as I wanted. It has everything from notes on heartwarming love to bonebreaking horror! I loved poems and lyrics such as Frantic (lost love), Miracle and Imagine (mother's veneration for child), Hallowing, Grimmest and The Macabre (three very humorously horrifying poems), My friend (a birthday poem written for who I believe I've met digitally), I had a friend, Ides Of March (remember Julius Ceasar?), The Deep dark woods, The Dark deep woods, Bugs and so on. It's a brilliant collection, really, not just a must have but a must keep.

  Review Of A World Of Words Clicking into the page of the first poem of this unique, genuine collection felt like going through the lonely wardrobe into another world, a Fantasia through the never ending story. Alright, I admit I get carried away a lot when it gets to books but this collection spoke to me through its separate voices of the existence of the wonderful world of Eath, until things fell amiss towards the end with bloody wars and unnecessary conquests. Of course when next Mr. Rafael Lopez is venturing into the fantastic land to obtain another collection from its libraries, I really wish to come along and experience this world firsthand. Here, Life is versed, explained, beautified through so many unique voices: Keckith, Yenba, Hefmok, Ax, Alindra and several others. It's a great collection. Looking forward to another unique stuff by Rafael Lopez.

  Just what I like about shorts. Great, quick reads, telling a fantastic tale with the fewest words manageable. I liked the story's premise and the main character and his characteristics, not someone you simply come across. A good piece of work.

  Okay, so I'm only just about to finish the book but I just had to leave a review based on what the book has made me feel thus far. It's magnificent, a genuinely unique zomby chiller! Just what I've been hunting for this here year. I love the two main characters and the setting of the story, class! It'll be great as a movie I do say. Well done, Mr Bullet. A good book overall. Beautiful illustrations too. Still can't believe I got it for free.

  This is a good book to begin with. It held my interest throughout the chapters and one will see that it's a work meticulously researched. It started slowly though as I had to understand the characters - a couple of them had alternate names - but as the pages progressed, action and thrill reached a fevered pitch before eventually and in time too, dropped. It was good writing, good story, worth my time and I'm looking forward to more. So you keep writing, Janus.

  As always, Lori R. Lopez gripped my interest with her technique of writing after about five paragraphs in. Maybe from now, I'll learn to keep the neighbors to themselves, not like I relate much anyway. It was a steady and interesting read. Might need to be reread before completely grasping the situation. Well done, Lori. I'll always love your work.

  This book is the first I’ve read from this author and what prompted me to pick it to pluck it from the site of download was the fact it appeared to be the author’s first published work there. I got it for free so no one loses. It started up well, it had a very good premise that set a good foundation for the story to build upon. But built fairly it did. First I didn’t understand why the story was classified as horror. It should’ve been put under the mystery section as it poorly contained elements of horror, which I was disappointed with as I had downloaded it to read some mindbending gory stuff from some new guy. Then somewhere close to the finish, grammatical errors started to peep through the story, though not much to deter my interest in it. However, the writing was clear and precise and easy to read. It took me about an hour to read and absorb the story. Though it didn’t leave me wanting more, it was very interesting, fair justice done to a genuine idea. And now it has made me anticipate forthcoming works of this author.

  Following an interesting review format I found a reader post for a book, here's my review: Pros: >>First, an appealing cover. >>A quick read >>Quite visual >>action all through Bad: >>Has no brevity. I know I said it was a quick read but there were so many unnecessary words that hindered its flow, which leads me to the next point. >>Unnecessary adjectives, adverbs and poor use of similes >>Punctuation errors, spelling errors (thou, instead of though, etc) and grammar errors. >>Needs proofreading, editing. >>The writer tends to drift between past and present tenses in the narration rather than write in the present. All things said, it made a good read, and it makes me look forward to future works. Well done. And yes, readers, you'll like and enjoy it.

  You know what's confusing about this book? It's confusing. Do you understand me? No? That's how confusing it is. Inside this book are the gibberish gibberings of completely senseless, meaningful, senseless stories, that aren't stories when you begin but when you end, supposing you start from the end and not the beginning. Oh, someone help me. This book is a must read, if you must read it and not because I say so but because it doesn't say so. The writing is so unclear, it's very clear.

  This is a fantastic short, very interesting, original and introspective. The imagery was vivid and the idea was original and unique. I loved the new twist on vampire fiction (won't give spoilers). I was so caught in the narrator's misery that I came up disappointed when the curtain called. It's a very good outline for a novel/novella length work. Writing was also clear, clean and easy on the mind. Well done, writer.

  I read this about two years ago and it was a masterpiece then, a keeper. Just today, as I was looking down my list for a new read, I fell upon it, and remembered I'd not told others about it yet. What a long time to keep a book hidden, so here: First, this is a fantastic short and a complete one too. What I love about it was its conclusion: the mystery, though solved, still remained a mystery. It's an evocative book, very vivid writing, enjoyable to read and engrossing. Worth all of my time reading it. Recommended to all fans of horror, and authors too.

  Simply FANTASTIC! This must be the third best anthology I've read this year, the first still remaining Stephen King's Nightmares and Dreamscape and the second James Pratt's Horrible Stories For Terrible People vol. 1. It had not just horror but everything. Writing was attractive throughout, had a delightful cadence and the stories were more than interesting. Even the introduction was class and Flesh&Blood should be a literary classic, really! My best stories were Takers, In extremis, Feed, I. C. U., Nightsound, and of course, Flesh & Blood. Characters were most interactive, loved some, felt for some, hated some, was irritated by some. Good, good. Recommended for all bookworms and horror lovers.

  Loved this. A lot of subconscious admonishings for both writers and publishers. Be very wary when meeting a publisher, but make certain it's in daytime and the publisher's office has at least a window.

  This is the first of the series I've read and it appears to be a spinoff of a bigger story. The adventures of two adventure loving, inquiring kids whose love for the escapades only gets them into terrifying situations with mental long lasting implicational consequences. It's a good book, very suitable for young adult readers and I quite enjoyed it. Writing had a nice flow and was easy to read. But it has to be said that it could still do with some editing. The typos aren't especially glaring but are glaring nonetheless. I really look forward to reading more adventures of the trouble loving kids. :-) Liked the book. Recommended.

  Sometimes I wonder why authors want their work to remain a flash when it has the potential to be something very big. Such as this story. It needed no beginning, it doesn't end at the end; you are smacked headfirst into the body of action. The abstract quality of Rob. Friedrich gets better by the publication and his visual description is brief but vivid. And wholesomely terrifying. Though there are redundancies in tiny jots, the enjoyment of the story is not taken away. So, even if technique needs little work, very well done author.
