Dustin Sanchez

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in 4th grade. I remember because we had to do one page reports for Mrs. Wright's class, and instead of doing a page report on my cat like everyone else I wrote a series called A Kid Named Billy, about a winged boy that couldn't figure out how to fly.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I'm writing the sequel to Faceless, called Railgun, which takes place a year after the end of Faceless when NightCard decides to fight back against the people that shamed them.

In a world where World War 2 lasted just a few more years, the Allies turned to genetic engineering. They wanted to create a better soldier, a better spy, a better human. One of the companies they turned to was NightCard that seemed to have the answer. Using genetic engineering and their patented BloodWine, NightCard spent the next 70 years breeding experiments with astounding abilities.
