Melissa Snow

Biography

I have always enjoyed reading but after receiving my Nook at Christmas it has become a passion.

Many people complain that they don't have the money to travel....they don't have the money for this or that. I have found that while my budget may be tight and I can not travel as I may want to, there is nothing to keep me from visiting other places through a book. A book is the best entertainment, stress release and escape that I have been able to find.

I recently started a blog called Picks n Passions in order to shine light on books and authors who are not as well-known. By doing so, I hope to introduce friends and followers to really good reads that they may not have otherwise considered. If you read this bio....maybe you could stop in and share your thoughts and visit. :-)

I started this book yesterday morning and finished it last night. My heart really broke for the position that Amelia found herself in time and again. I highly recommend!!

I LOVED this story. I was immediatley drawn into the storyline and felt like I knew the characters. Karen Fowler took the story full circle and it felt complete. I, however, would love a sequel.

I loved the story!! It was great. I don't normally read short stories because I always feel like something was left out but this was really good. Emma was gutsy!!

This is one of the best books I have read in a very long while. There is so much to say about it, but I fear I would give away too much. Not only am I glad I read it, I'm grateful. I have struggled with the rebellious teenager and I also have to deal with a son who I so dearly love has rejected me. My experience is different than the story because my son was not stolen physically, but emotionally and mentally. This book helped me in many ways. Many thanks!
