Biography
I'm Lp Johnson - Author & Poet, Mother & Teacher, and Minister of Healing. I'm a native of Chicago, Illinois yet, having an innate 'Wanderlust', I have lived in several other cities and states - including my current residence in Oklahoma.
The love of books and reading have been in me all of my life, and writing has been my passion since I was able to connect letters to speech. Expressing my thoughts and sharing my ideas with others - first on paper and then by typing - grants the sense of being on a Journey that simply never ends.
"In The Land Of Nubia contains a 3-part Series, of which the current release "Nubian Sun: A Royal Wedding" is the first. It was the also the first full length novel I began, after spending many years writing poems and short stories for friends, a few songs here and there which were honestly just given away. I also created several plays for holiday productions in church, some of which may actually make it to print if/when I come back to them. The second in the series is "Nubian Shadow: A Child Of The King", and it is currently in production; expected to be released by the end of Summer 2013. The third, coming in early 2014, will be "Nubian Star".
