Wow Christine has added all the ingredients that I love into one book.  Vampires, Witches, and romance.  Then to add icing to the cake she threw in my favorite Greek mythology.  Bam she had me.  Read the entire book in 2 hours couldn't put it down left me salivating for more.  I am hoping to see the story of Mae and Beck to continue. Would also like to continue the story of Mer and Aiden, Nikola and Gemma, and finally Alexis and possibly Dr. Aaron.  This book is a great start to more beginnings would love to see what the future holds for the couples.  I don't want to spoil the book so get your copy today you won't be disappointed.  Worth 10 stars more than the 5.
  • S.P.I.R.I.T: Fire Storm on Feb. 29, 2012

S.P.I.R.I.T. Fire Storm by Dawn Gray was truly a great book.  The way she weaves the characters of Sam and Zander together in two parallel universes where in one universe they are unrequited and separated lovers by death and chance meeting brought the two together in a alternate universe.  The connection that the two had was very romantic and exciting.  How they were able to come together through very strange circumstances and not question what needed to be done and not completely freak out.  I asked the author about future books and she is working on book 2.  I will be looking forward to it and I give this book 5 stars and recommend that everyone leap on the Spirit.
  • Bookended By Beauty Queens on March 27, 2012

Bookended by Beauty Queens by Victoria Marshal Oh I many opinions on the book Bookended by Beauty Queens by  Victoria Marshal.  I was reading the story of Angie Palmer I thought this was going to be one of those books where you have a whiney middle child complaining that they can't do this like the oldest one does and the baby of the family gets their way all the time, boy was I wrong.  Angie was overshadowed by two sisters who were beauty queens but she was the smart one in the family the one that was used as the responsible one.  She comes across a drag queen by the name of  Val on the subway and kind of dismissed the encounter until!  Her grandmother loses her apartment  in a fire and she comes to live with Angie.  On the subway they run into Val again and her grandma starts a friendship with him that will change all of their lives.  This portion of the book was hilarious I spit my drink out of my nose laughing so hard.  I have never laughed so hard in my life.  Don't get me wrong this is not just a comedy there is a dramatic turn of events that I will not spoil you will have to read.  Angie and her grandma take on the fight of their lives and will the outcome be favorable to all.  This is a must read exceptionally good for a debut author.  Well done Victoria thank you for the wonderful book.

Familiar Ties by Naya Nikki I was very fortunate to receive a great ARC copy of a book called Familiar Ties by Naya Nikki.  This was a wonderful and heartfelt journey that the characters went on and by reading it I was drawn into this storyline.  Max is a widower raising his daughter Phoebe after his wife dies during childbirth.  He is helped through this tragedy of not only losing his wife but being a single father to a baby by Amy who was best friends with his wife.  Soon after Max's wife dies Amy finds out that she is pregnant.  From the beginning Max shows that he is a loyal and dear friend to Amy.  He is there during her pregnancy and even at th birth of Grace who he even helped name.   Where was Amy's good for nothing lake boyfriend?  Following his all important career.  These two families go through everything together as one big family whoever but yet separate known to one another's kids  as Aunt Amy and Uncle Max.  Many complications threaten this friendship can they overcome this.  Can they truly realize what s staring them in the face.  I highly recommend this book when it is released.  Is there hope in finding love you will get a taste in this wonderful book.  Thank you Naya for sharing  your story.
  • Energy - The Awakening on May 12, 2012

My Review of  Energy:  The Awakening  MJ Schutte This was an amazing book.  Once I started I didn't want to put it down.  Poor Brighton and Lilian couldn't seem to catch a break on this fantastic journey.  The have to  fight for the love that they share against everyone it seems.  First the Supremes, the Dark Ones, then normal everyday power hungry people.  Through this journey they come across many if different people who are willing to lay own their lives for them.  This book had you on the edge of your seats and MJ Schutte had a secret up his sleeve around every corner.  You never know what he is going to pull out of his bag of tricks.  I think the true hero and show stealer was a black panther named Mischief.  Team Mischief all the way.  I m looking forward to more from this series so I can continue on this magical and stimulating journey definitely a 5 star rating.
  • The Man of my Dreams (book #1 in The Dream Series) on June 17, 2012

Lisa's review of  Man of my Dreams (The Dream Series Book 1) By Gladys Quintal I received a copy of Man of my Dreams in a contest.  I absolutely loved this book.  So much I read it all in an hour.  Gladys had me screaming at her on the last page.  Thankfully book 2 is already out and I can run out and get it to read.  Haven't we all wished to have the man of our dreams come to us?  What would you do if you find out that there may be something dark to your fantasy lover?  Could you love the man for all sides his tender and loving nature opposed to his dark and protective side. I for one would sign up for that wild ride.    Alexi was all that to Cass and more giving her the greatest gift of all.  I would highly recommend this series to everyone and now I must read book 2.  Thank you Gladys for such a wonderful story.

  • Baby, Species Intervention #6609 Book One on April 05, 2013

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. At the beginning you couldn't help but feel the turmoil that the main character Netty felt living with her abusive husband. It was a violent Marraige and he had only married her for land and money that she had inherited but didn't know about. She finally gets the courage to escape his clutches so she runs and runs to the only place she knows. She ended up at the delapitated family home. One day Netty comes across a injured creature and she nurses it back to health. After that they become bonded. This is one book that is a page turner right from the cover. I typically do not read Sci-Fi books but the talk on these books I couldn't resist the peer pressure. The characters were really well developed and the author has a great ability to create vivid imagery. I definitely look forward to more from this author

  • Echo Species Intervention #6609 on April 05, 2013

I received a copy in exchange for a unbiased and honest review. I'm not really a big fan of sci fi books but this author has made it real easy to get involved on these books. She has such complex and interesting characters that you cant help but love them. These books make you actually think in them it is a interactive experience. That in itself is a great treat for a avid reader. Don't let the covers sway you from getting these books because the storyline was very engaging. I loved how she was able to give great visual imagery. I cant wait to read more in this series and highly recommend this to sci fi fanatics and readers in general.
  • Armageddon Cometh, Species Intervention #6609 Book Three on April 05, 2013

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. I have to say after reading 3 books so far in the series I'm hooked on this author. She has a talent in building characters and storylines. The reader doesn't have a chance to get bored or disgusted. There is a little profanity but it doesn't turn you off of the story. With the bringing in of new characters the story is able to expand without compromising anything. I highly recommend if you need something that keeps you engaged and guessing. I have learned never to expect the oblivious with this author. The characters have dimension that shows they have a emotional connection and they survive those emotions. I cant wait to read more
  • Hive, Species Intervention #6609, Book Four on April 05, 2013

I received a copy in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. Wow what a journey I have followed this author on their journey with this series. The vivid imagery has been enhanced from book to book you are able to see the growth of not only the story but the author themselves have grown. This has been a huge emotionally charged adventure not for the weak hearted reader. This is not just a sci fi book it is so so much more it is an experience a fantastic journey of both people and animal. I really want to read more Baby has become a beloved character to me I have witnessed the growth of this character. I want everyone whether you like sci fi or not definitely put this on your list and see why everyone loves it so much.
  • Zero Gravity on April 20, 2014

When I heard this author was doing a erotica novella I definitely not sure what to expect. Wow she created such a great foundation for the setting, characters that this didn't even seem like a erotica the hot sex was just the cherry on top. I have read all this author's books and her imagination is fascinating. The world's she creates are so elaborate along with the names of places and characters. This author emerges you into the characters story's. Leaves you begging for more from these characters. I would love to see them mixed into her other stories because they are strong characters that need more story in other settings. I highly recommend this story because with or without the adult aspect the author shows she is more than capable of telling a great story.
  • Celestra Series Books 1-2 on Oct. 25, 2014

I have never read this authors paranormal ya books till after I read her na books. I have to say that this author has the great ability to write in just about any genre. She has the ability to capture her audience and hold them captive from cover to cover and never let them go then they are salivating for the next book in either the series or grabbing and starting another series. Her characters all seem to be well thought out and fully developed the reader can't help but fall in love with them and getting vested in the storyline. I never realized how many books that she had out and such a wide variety to hit upon each person's taste. Her covers are so amazing and wonderful myself that is what first captures me, blurbs are not something that hits me first. I love how the author is able to add and solve love triangles making them so interesting. I love a fast paced and extremely self absorbed read and highly recommend this for readers of all ages. I can't wait to read more books in this series and definitely more from this author. I also love how the first book of her series is free so it enables new readers to try her work and get addicted
