Formerly you would peg me as the perfect suburban homemaker, married to an executive, with two children - a boy and a girl in the right order, and a perfect life.
All that came to an end with my meltdown. My body was telling me what I lived in denial about - my husband was an addict. His disease was now affecting my health and sanity. Something had to change. And it did.
I found recovery in groups and online, served as sponsor and moderator when asked, and found my own spiritual awakening and serenity. Now I pass on the tools that helped me find myself.
