Dirty Little Angels

This wasn't an instant favourite for me. I found the lead character to be vacant and divorced from the emotional turmoil around her. It could just be me, but I found there was so much going on it the book it became a case of everything louder than everything else. With so much happening nothing was able to stand out.

22 pages in and I gave up on this book. I found it ill thought out and annoying. Not my sort of thing at all.

The Old One

A classic tale of a troubled town. There's a touch of Lovecraft in here, blended with good, old fashion campfire terror tales. This is a well written tale that with have you shuddering as the wind blows through the trees outside.
