How do you approach cover design?
I approach cover design in a number of different ways. Sometimes I like to look at other books and see what parts I like and what parts I don't. I then write down the basic elements which I want my cover to have, I also usually pick the color scheme and the what I like to call "must haves". I then organize my notes and pass them along to my talented graphic artist who makes a mock cover and we go back and forth until I am 100% satisfied with it.
What do you read for pleasure?
This might sound like a weird answer but I love reading the internet. I often find myself staying up late and just reading anything and everything I can come across. It's like an information adventure which I never know where I end up. I bounce around from link to link, blog to blog and just soak it all in.
