Brenda Deason

Biography

I really love to read. What I like is historical fiction and non-fiction, crime drama fiction and non-fiction and contemporary romance, all written by self-published authors. Not a fan of erotica or horror books.

I have to say that I've never been a huge fan of vampire novels, but I took this as a recommendation and I'm glad I did. I really did like it! Your characters are well developed and likeable, the story is interesting and most of all, yeah it's vampires, but you made an alternative world of living with them very believable. Your writing style is very easy and quick to read, I was able to finish it in a couple of days. I plan to read more of your books and I hope you write more in the future.

This is a very nice, short story. Great potential for expansion into a larger book. Vivid depiction of the prejudice of that era. I'd certainly like to read more.
  • Color of Night (Panthera Series #1) on July 22, 2012

This is the second book by Ms. Smith that I've read. And like the last one, I really enjoyed it. The characters are easy to like and well thought out, so is the story. I love how the paranormal is woven into everday life, makes it very believable. Hope she writes more of this type in the future.
  • In The Company of Angels on July 22, 2012

A lot of story compacted into a small story. Good reading.
  • Seducing Miss Dunaway on July 22, 2012

This definitely could have been longer, but I did enjoy reading it.
  • Legacy (Sanguine Series #2) on Aug. 06, 2012

I have to say that of all the books I have read of yours so far(the two on here)that this is your best. Longer than stuff I like to read, but not boring at all. Thank you for offering your coupon on your blog. Though, I still would have paid for it. I fell for Roman and his heartache. you are writing the second part, right?
  • Touch of Silver (Sanguine Series #3) on March 14, 2013

Could someone start an official fan club for Ms.Smith's books? because i'm just hooked on them. I had been waiting for Touch of Silver for a while and I was so happy to get it. Read it all in one night and one can't afford to do that when you have to work in the morning. I'd do it again though, it was worth it. Bravo, again!
