BJ Gaskill

Biography

I'm just a lover of books...all kinds really, though I must admit I do have a soft spot for Highlanders (got to love a man in a kilt).
I live in a world of two kids and a hubby that works hard, but plays even harder. We have mountians on one side and the plains on the other. It snows it the winter and it gets hot in the summer....Duh...I know right?
I dream one day to visit Scotland and Ireland, each night though I'm always there, so who knows maybe it would be best if I didn't...LOL

Talk about bringing my inner nerd out. I loved this story! I was one of those girls that loved comics and actually still do...so it was so AWESOME that this story revolved around a comic book store owner,Abby. I connected with her right off the get go. She was so fun, smart, and strong willed. I honestly don't know if I could handle things the way she had. I mean really to find a hunk a sleep on the floor??? Hmmm... As for Jasper...what's not to like...I mean if you're closed minded I guess there's a bunch...but I'm not soooo...Jasper is this hot writer that has some flaws but he is caring, thoughtful, emotional, and is into Abby. The story itself is so much fun....I mean the resturant scene alone is worth reading over again...too funny!!!! Oh and the robber's house OMG!! I laughed so hard!!I must say though there were times I would have loved to have punched Paul out and told Abby's sister where she could put some things, but over all this story was a BLAST!!!!

I'll be honest, this book didn't get me right off the back. However as the story progressed it was hard to put down. I really started to enjoy the whole concept of a town out of the norm. The character Genevieve was well written and for a teen, that is a feat all it's own. It was refreshing that Ms. Waldrop was able to blend a tale of growing up and not accepting things just because, but on the fact that they were. It in itself was well written with fun supporting characters and loads action. A great read for those teens looking for something a bit new and fun.

Where on earth do I even begin with this book. I must say I have never read any book where a woman didn't jump at the chance to have a Vampire. That was until this one...OMG! I was totally and I mean ....totally blown away by how stubborn Brea and Angel were. I swear it was no wonder fate had chosen them as mates. I still kinda laugh at her getting all pissy at him smelling her when they first met....as if that was the worst he could of done....LOL....I mean starving himself was WAY worst! Then as the story progressed...I laughed...I screamed...I said "Wholly Boogers" more than once....and lord help me if I didn't want the second book read by the time I finished the first. I swear the characters were just so in your face real...you wanted them to jump off the pages and actually be your neighbors....you wanted that reality to be your reality. (although the Killer....that guy could totally stay inside the book....no need to have everybody outside of the book...right?) Awesome job writing!!!

Creepy....but in a good way. I really like Sebastian and so the fact that his past is relived in this book kinda shook me up.....it made me cry. I was sad but happy, because he had Jess!!! Jess was his life line and he was hers, but Wholly Boggers if they didn't have to fight a crazy nut job to get their happy ending....I'm finding that Danielle James totally Kicks butt with this series and each book into the Knight family, I fall more and more in love. If these two fought tooth and nail to believe that they weren't good enough to be mated....who knows what's going to happen in the next book. I'd gladly stand in as a mate for any of them....just saying :)
