Benedict Martin

Benedict was a promising tenor in Canada's prestigious 'Tebby Overnight'. Unfortunately a nasty earache robbed him of his perfect pitch. It wasn't all bad, though: the illness that took away his musicality granted him the ability to imagine awesome stories.

Benedict also believes he is the reincarnation of Harry Houdini.

My ten year old daughter loved this story. I gave it to her to read last night and she finished it this morning. The characters are fun, the story is exciting and it kept her entertained the entire time. Definitely a great read.

Macabre is a good description for this story. It's also entertaining, holding my attention right to the end. A short, yet wonderful peek into a very bizarre world.
