Roger Smith

Born in England, Roger was educated in the U.K., the U.S., and Canada. He taught English, Geography, and Environmental Studies in Canadian high schools; English, Philosophy, and Art History at the Mazatlan campus of the Monterey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico; and English at the Daqing Oilfield Oil Production Technology Institute in Daqing, China. Roger’s Environmental Studies curriculum Preserving Our Pale Blue Dot and other environmental resources are available from teacherspayteachers.com. His short stories have been published in magazines in the USA and Europe, and one of his children’s stories is included in a program for teaching English Language Arts published by Learn Without Limits. He also worked with programmers in Russia and Pakistan to develop three computer games on environmental issues and is developing a climate change board game.
