I just finished reading Chop, Chop by L.N. Cook. What a refreshing book to read. It was nice to read a Christian book about a boy’s life and the trials he goes through. Each of the characters were so well developed you could really relate to them and felt like they were your friends. The book brought laughter and tears and I highly recommend. I look forward to reading more in the series.

It's a good thing the author gives you a brief on the main characters right in the beginning of the book. There is a lot going on with a lot of characters in this action packed book. If I didn't have the brief I would have been lost. This was the first book I've read from the author so I wasn't expecting anything. Basically the book was good. Some of the parts where unbelievable especially with Cassidy getting rape so many times and bouncing right back to her duty but I still enjoyed the book. I read for enjoyment and don't dissect every little bit of a book. To me this was a good read even if I did get confused on all the character once in awhile when first or last names were use. But I liked the concept, the main characters, and the romance. I will read the sequel and also her other genre.
