r. a. Ben Miller

Biography

I was born in Seattle. My first 15 years I was an Army brat. We traveled a lot. I lived inside my stories. From an early age (9) I wrote down the short stories that I told to myself. Later, (25)a couple of the stories got away from me and became novels. During my teaching career, I wrote some text books that I won't bore you with. On the side I perform and teach guitar. Starting with the 1st edition in 1976, it grew into a 12 book set on how to play. The 8th edition of these books will not appear on this platform. My original guitar book publisher went out of business but I kept writing the books. I use them in my teaching practce and I sell them off the stage with my CD's at shows and at work shops.
