I was disappointed in this book. I've read many Amish fiction books by other authors, so, no doubt, I was expecting the same quality of writing. The biggest disappointment was the language--it just didn't seem typical of the Amish. There was too much contemporary language to make the story a realistic Amish story. The story line itself was good, but the dialogue needs to be rewritten. I was given a free copy of this book through Librarything in exchange for an honest review of the book.
