Bob Perkins
Biography
Bob Perkins is a coach, consultant, teacher, leader, husband and father. He is a Relationships Core Motivator who at the age of forty redefined his life.
He spent twenty-two years in youth ministry and still looks back on those years with high school kids as an incredible gift. His book “No Banana Splits - a perspective on youth ministry” continues to be a challenge to the status quo of many leadership organizations, with grass-roots demand for the book continuing to grow ten years after its publication.
In 2003 he started Bob Perkins Consulting and enjoys “being in it” with his clients. Bob knows from experience that leadership is lonely and he enjoys walking with his clients through the various challenges they face. He uses the leadership lessons he learned in the ministry along with the principles of Core Motivator to help his clients understand who they are and how to navigate their lives and businesses.
In 2006 he pursued his passion for wine and France and founded B&B’s French Wine Club. He travels to France every year and tastes hundreds of wines, selecting the best wines for his club members. www.bandbsfrenchwineclub.com
Bob is active at the Union League of Philadelphia where he sings in the Glee Club and is President of the Grand Cru Society. He also leads the Valley Forge Society – a weekly men’s group/Bible Study – where he learns as much from the guys in the group as he teaches them.
He is married to Debbie - his beautiful wife of thirty years - and they have two wonderful sons. . The highlight of every year is the time he and Debbie spend in France discovering new places, meeting new friends and enjoying fantastic food.
He has a BA in Economics from Roanoke College and a M.Div. from Covenant Seminary.
