Christian A. Young grew up in a small town in the American Midwest, where he developed a love of aesthetic decay and a serious need to live somewhere bigger. He presently lives and writes in Columbia, MO, where he shares a house with his family and a pack of dogs, all of whom who are allowed on the furniture.
When he isn't writing essays, poetry, and stories, he likes to lend a hand at the annual True/False Film Festival, and celebrates National Novel Writing Month (even if he isn't participating). He writes fan fiction for fun, and believes in the value of transformative works as art and folklore in their own right.
