Beverley Boissery

Biography

For about ten years, beginning when I was 8, I spent most of my school vacations on an estate about three hours north of Sydney, Australia. It was historic. Its original workers had been convicts--criminals sentenced to work in Australia rather than go to jail. One day, I found an old brick with the dent in it of the convict who had pulled it out of the kiln. As I was usually the only child, I made up stories about that convict.

I write YA novels and live in Vancouver with my longtime feline friend, Lillee.
