This was interesting. I like time travel books, and those that are historical are even better. The main characters, Sophie and Jamie, end up near Gettysburg near the time of the big battle. The only weird part was the guy from the future, who was out to kill Sophie -- I'm not sure that was totally explained. But the ending was good. Will have to find more books in the series...and then find the time to read them!!

Sorry haven't read this one yet -- no time. Not sure I really bought it either....doesn't sound like my type of book!

Just finished this. Interesting in that it deals with familial abuse -- father was a drinker/alcoholic/gambler who beat his wife, then disappeared. When he reappeared he abused his older daughter, then used her as payment in a card game. It was good to see how she managed to survive and thrive -- very creatively!

This short story about a Vampir and a not attractive young woman, underscores the old maxim about beauty only being skin deep. Louisa is wanted by her would-be suitors for her money only as she is not the typical waif-like debutante but a mix of her parent's features. Douglas is a Vampir who gets his strength not from blood but by taking part of a person's energy. An interesting twist.

Interesting story about undercover FBI 'operation' at a suburban high school. They are trying to thwart a potential tragedy from happening, based on suicide notes left by a student a few months earlier. Good story.

Good read. Cowboy with some psychic abilities is assigned to protect a woman in danger. After failing at his last assignment, he's nervous, but figures he's far enough from civilization that it shouldn't be a problem. Romance and suspense make for an interesting story.

This was a fun book. Interesting watching the macho men 'bow' to the female hockey players' expertise on the ice. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
