- The Feather Kiss
on July 05, 2011
This was a fun short story. I enjoyed the plot and characters. I do wish it had been longer, it would make for a great full length novel. The ended wrapped up a little too quickly, it needed at least one more chapter, it was all kind of sudden. The writing was well done and the story moved along smoothly. Overall, it was a great romantic read with lots of great kissing! =)
- Constant Hearts, Inspired by Jane Austen's Persuasion
on July 05, 2011
This was a very fun short story! I normally get frustrated with short stories...they're too short! While I would have loved for this to be a full-length novel, it worked out perfectly for my very busy schedule. Amy and Reed have great chemistry together. I think the tension and obstacles could have been expanded, but was really well written so it didn't seem too easily resolved. Overall, a very fun read and also very clean. I love Donna Hatch and will buy anything she writes. I like that she is able to keep her books clean, but still has tons of romance and romantic tension. When I saw this short story was available I bought it instantly! I can't wait for her to write more books! =)
- The Reluctant Bride

I loved the opening scene, it really draws you into the story and makes you want to keep reading. Although it was short, it was a fun story. I do wish it was a full length novel, but with my hectic schedule it was nice to read a fun short story. I love the regency setting and of course I'm a sucker for HEA endings.

I really enjoyed this short story. The setting and characters were perfect. I only wish it was longer, I would enjoy getting to know them more. Cute holiday read with a HEA anyone would love!

A great addition to the series. I'm really enjoying these novella's, but I hope we get a regular triology soon! Great read!
- Emma's Dilemma
on Oct. 25, 2012
I was so excited when I found out Ms Hatch had written a new short story. I loved the idea of a regency with a vampire twist. I thought this was a very fun read, Emma was a likable heroine. Bennett was swoon worthy and I could see why Emma wanted to be with him, even if he was a vampire! Super cute and leaves you with a smile on your face!
