  • The Undead Heart (#1 in the Blood Thirst Series) on July 08, 2013

I didn't give this book a chance and when I did I fell in love with it. This was an amazing book. It took me a while to get into it. like 2 months while, but when I sat down and finally made myself read more then 3 chapters I was hooked! The characters in this novel are so realistic. And the description in it is amazing. I can't wait until I get some time to give book 2 a proper shot too. (update read it and reviewed it. AMAZING!! And I cannot wait until the wrath of potter)

I received this book in exchange for an honest review (LoP or Lovers of Paranormal) I was really excited to start this book, the little paragraph that you get to read sounded really interesting and I honestly couldn't just wait to dive it. While the book was very well written, and yes the prime characters were very lovable, it just wasn't that great. It wasn't fast enough for me, I like fast paced novels and this one seemed to drag on for me. I have to give bonus points to the author though because it was interesting enough that I still finished the book, and am going to start the second one today. We shall see what happens and I hope that this series plays out well. Thank you for the opportunity to read your book, while I didn't enjoy it as much as everyone else apparently it was still a decent read that was very well written.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review (LoP or Lovers of Paranormal) Well this book was much better then the first one, I was able to get into it a lot better and the story flowed, where as in the first book I fell that it was all about getting to know the main characters. I'm not impressed with the "love triangle" that is in this story. There is almost way to much teen angst in it, and it seems staged quite honestly. Talia and Erik in my opinion have a good relationship, they just need to actually have a relationship. I am very interested in seeing how this is going to play out and I look forward to reading the next book in the series, and hopefully finish the series.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal ). All opinions of this book are of my own and not anyone else’s, and they are just that opinions. First off I want to thank the author again for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book series. This book is captured pretty good in the synopsis again, so I don’t really feel the need to describe it to you. There is much more “fooling around” in this book then there was in the last one though. I dunno what it is with the series though but I feel that it is really fast in some spots, and then really slow in others. There sometimes too much dialog and then none at all. Same with the descriptive parts in the story, I want to know MORE about where they are, more about the characters. I don’t feel like I know them all that well. Did I get bored of this book while reading it? No I didn’t. It kept me pretty much entertained the entire time I happened to have it in my hands. It entertained me enough that I am looking forward to reading the third book in the series. Do I think that it needs worked on? Yes I do, but as an over all series so far, its pretty good.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal ). All opinions of this book are of my own and not anyone else’s, and they are just that opinions. So I have spent the last week or so reading and reviewing these books, and have come to the conclusion that they are pretty good. They are starting to flow really nicely and the pace is getting better in that sense. They are not boring books to read at all. I just with that there was more. That there was more I don’t know, depth to them. I want to know MORE about the characters, what make them tick. Why they are the way that they are. Don’t just give me these wonderful characters and not say anything about them. I want to know MORE about where they are, what are their surroundings like, are there trees and mountains? What about lakes and rivers? What I like about this book specifically is that Sorcha isn’t a lady to take for granted and she will kick ass if need be. I like that she is strong willed and knows what she wants. What I don’t like and it seems to be a theme with these books, is the fact that she keeps putting them in abusive situations. Am I looking forward to reading the next and last book in the series? Yes I am. Thank you to L.P Dover and LOP for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book!

I was given this ARC from LOP (lovers of paranormal) for an honest review This book was by far the best book in the series. It had action, romance, and showed all of the emotions that it was trying to. This novel here was very well written, I just wish the other 3 were just like it. Even though I know that this was a 4 part series, most of me wants this author to squish this book into one, just so that it flows the way in my mind should. Would I read other books done by this author? Oh yes. I definitely would.

I was given this ark for an honest review from LOP (lovers of paranormal) So to start this book for me started off fairly slow. And then it got really fast paced. In my opinion things just started moving way to fast honestly. Characters were good, and I liked the way that they were developed. Ending was way to abrupt for me. I would have like to see it rounded just a little bit more. I'm interested to see what the next book brings and I will definitely be reading it!
