I highly recommend this book! The many points of view in this book add to its intriguing and well-developed plot. The characters themselves are very believable, likeable, and interesting. Reynolds is definitely an experienced writer, for she is great with character development, suspense and plot, scenery and imagination, and world building. It also amazes me how Reynolds kept all the countries, kings, and other characters' names straight, while keeping their personalities and emotions intact. Truly a very hard skill to develop. All I can say is, if you like epic fantasy, amazing characters, and a fascinating plot, this book is a must-read!

After reading the first book in the series, which was extremely interesting and suspenseful, I started reading the second book with a little worry in my mind. I just didn't think it could compete with the first book. However, after finishing the second book, to my surprise, I found it even better than the first! For any fantasy lovers out there, I would highly recommend these books. I have read a fair amount of fantasy books in my life, and I can honestly say that the trivallyn saga books are the best I have ever read. Get the second book and you will find out what I mean. p.s. If I could give this book 6 stars, instead of only 5, I would definitely do it!

Though this book had a fair amount of sad parts in it, it was still definitely a good read.

Out of all the seven books series, I can honestly say that this was the best book of all of them. There were epic battle scenes, thrilling suspenseful moments, heroic deeds and selfless sacrifices, and terrifying mythical creatures. This book was certainly a page-turner. I look forward to seeing what else Peyton Reynolds can write, for I am very satisfied with this whole series.

This book was incredible, and I have to say, for me, it was even better than the past three books. It had a lot of depth to it and very interesting character development. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy stories.
