Matthew Lieber Buchman

Biography

Matthew Lieber Buchman has flipped fish, sold stereo equipment, rebuilt a 50’ sailboat, and sung opera. He’s worked in live theater, law, and been a computer nerd. He’s bicycled solo around the world, made maps, and designed roof trusses, all in roughly that order. He is constantly amazed at what you can do with a degree in Geophysics. He lives and writes in a solar-powered home of his own design on an island in the Pacific Northwest where he plays merrily with his wife, daughter, and a pair of very foolish cats who rather enjoy sitting on his manuscripts.
