Biography

Carrie Reynolds has achieved industry recognition with the creation of her alter ego, The Insurance Goddess. She has been featured in multiple industry publications, including Erie Insurance’s Agent Exchange and Progressive Insurance’s Agency Insights magazines, and in two feature articles for PIA of Ohio’s magazine—"The Insurance Goddess: How she created her own brand" and “Women in Insurance.”

She has participated in two podcasts for Insurance Journal—"From Accidental Agent to Insurance Goddess" and “Confessions of an Insurance Goddess.”

She has also written two articles for American Agent & Broker, titled "Create Brand You and Blow Away the Competition" and "4 Ways to Avoid the Social Media Time Drain."

She actively blogs about insurance, marketing, social media and small business via her blog "Confessions of an Insurance Goddess."

She appeared as The Insurance Goddess at PIA of Ohio's 2011 Agency Profitability and Management Conference, as a panelist for a roundtable discussion, "Using Technology to Move Forward."

Carrie joined her family-owned insurance agency, Alan Galvez Insurance, in 1996, after graduating from Wittenberg University with a degree in Business Management. She is licensed for both property/casualty and life/health, and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. She earned her Masters in Business from Capital University in 2002.

She serves her community as a member of the Bellefontaine Rotary Club, as well as a board member of the International Friendship Center. She also enjoys riding her motorcycle, playing her clarinet in the West Central Ohio Community Concert Band, scrapbooking and gardening.

She is a firm believer in not just selling policies, but offering solutions that benefit the customer. Carrie's talent is in "translating" insurance speak into understandable terms, educating her customers and the general public and even making the insurance seeking process less scary and yes, even fun.
