Cathryn Louis is a career technologist; who at first built chips and computers, and then rode the dotcom wave into software development. She currently writes desktop and web applications.
Technology is one of her passions; writing is the other. She joins the two in a way that is suspenseful and entertaining. In her romantic suspense novels, the heroines are masters of technology; who dive into intrigue, and find unexpected love. Her debut novel is Sunrise on the Pier.
So what's up with the Sepia Rose? Well actually not a rose - the type of flower is unknown. The story is that her preteen confided to a friend, "Mommy says we can't read her book because it has sex and violence." Her friend promptly answered, "Eewww!". So she uses the picture to limit her ability to contribute to preteen angst. There's a glaring fallacy here (wink, wink) that you can spot - but let's just keep it a secret.
