Cendrine Marrouat is a social media coach, blogger, journalist, and author living in Winnipeg, Canada. A social media instructor, her latest blog is Social Media Slant, which focuses on social media tips, tools, stats, and news for small businesses and solo-entrepreneurs.

What do you read for pleasure?

I'm passionate about the work I do. So, I read a lot of nonfiction, and everything around social media marketing and branding.

What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?

Putting myself in my audience's shoes has allowed me to promote my books in a way that does not feel too pushy.
