Ties To The Blood Moon on Feb. 25, 2013

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a Young Adult Paranormal Romance and I would say that while I did enjoy it as an adult, it certainly is appropriate for a teen. I liked a good deal about the book. To begin, our heroine has been forced to move to Alaska and has become involved with the Inuit culture and legends. I enjoyed reading about this and learning about the Alaskan wilderness. There are plenty of supernatural creatures involved in the story too and we meet them all at some point. The main story revolves around Gen and her inherited role in life, her new best friend, and 2 love interests. On the other hand, there is quite a bit of angst involved with the love triangle and that felt a bit more teenager then other parts of the book. There are points in the book were we leave one scene and start another with no warning, not sure if that's just a format issue or author preference. All in all, I give this a 4 star rating, with a bit less angst and a few format changes this would make 5 stars. Looking forward to reading the next book and find out what's next in line for Gen!
