Biography

GINI GRAHAM SCOTT, Ph.D., J.D., is a nationally known writer, consultant, speaker, and seminar/workshop leader, specializing in books about business and work relationships, professional and personal development,social trends, popular culture, lifestyles, criminal justice, and writing, publishing, and promoting books. She is founder and director of Changemakers and has taught classes at several colleges, including California State University, East Bay, Notre Dame de Namur University, and the Investigative Career Program in San Francisco. Besides writing nonfiction, she writes scripts for films and teleplays.

She has published over 50 books on diverse subjects. Scott has received national media exposure for her books (including appearances on Good Morning America, Oprah, Montel Williams, CNN, and the O'Reilly Factor). She is the producer and host of a radio talk show series, CHANGEMAKERS, featuring interviews on various types of changes. Scott’s screenplays, mostly in the crime, legal thriller, and sci-fi genres, include RICH AND DEAD, COKE AND DIAMONDS, DEADLY AFFAIR, FLARE UP, DEAD NO MORE, THE NEW CHILD, NEW IDENTITY, and DELUSION. UNBALANCED is expected to be completed in 2009. She produced, directed, wrote, and cast a trailer for THE NEW CHILD.

As a game and toy designer, Scott has had over two dozen games with major game companies, including Hasbro, Pressman, and Mag-Nif. Two new games were introduced by Briarpatch in 2007. She licensed GLASNOST: THE GAME OF SOVIET-AMERICAN PEACE AND DIPLOMACY to John N. Hansen (1988). The game received a 1989 International Clio for packaging.

As a songwriter, Scott has written over 100 songs, featured at www.songworks.net, and has cuts on several records. She has won awards for her photography, featured at www.artsandphotos.com. She has designed several lines of dolls and character licenses and writes children's books.

She received a PhD in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, a JD from the University of San Francisco Law School, and MAs in Anthropology; Mass Communications & Organizational/ Consumer/Audience Behavior, and Popular Culture and Lifestyles from Cal State, East Bay. She is getting an M.S. in Recreation and Tourism from there in 2012.
