Dr. Will Boyd

Biography

Dr. Will Boyd is the Chief Servant and General Overseer of Zion Ministries, an organization started in 2001 for the purposes of equipping ministers and pastors with leadership skills needed for the establishment of churches and ministries. In this capacity, Dr. Boyd serves as an archbishop and spiritual covering to fellowships, churches, bishops, pastors and ministers in North America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean. Dr. Boyd is also the Founder and Former Senior Pastor of Mt. Zion Temple of Deliverance & Praise in Greenville, Illinois. Dr. Boyd holds a B.S. in Engineering, an MBA, a PhD in Religion and a PhD in Organizational Management and Leadership. Dr. Boyd served as the Dean of Student Success and Instructor of Management for Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois. Dr. Boyd is the first African American elected to City Council in Greenville, Illinois. In 2009, he became a candidate for United States Senate. When not behind the pulpit, in a classroom, serving in the community or enjoying time with his family, Dr. Boyd speaks in churches, ministry meetings, leadership seminars, banquets, correctional facilities and institutions of higher learning. Dr. Boyd and his wife have two children. While he and his wife were born and raised in Florence, South Carolina, Dr. and his family now reside in Greenville, Illinois.
