Chloe and Alex go on a work/vacation to Florida. While at the track, Chloe's begins an odyssey of luck that comes as both a blessing and a curse. She wins big, but is then nearly run over by a bus--she gets hit on by a handsome young beach goer, but he ends up being Alex's business partner--and then she befriends a rich and powerful horse trainer only to be brought in on family squabbles and eventually a murder. If you like the Chloe Boston series, you're gonna love this one. I laughed out loud several times.
