Christina Hamilton


Biography

Christina Hamilton worked in television production at the BBC for 30 years. She travelled extensively, production managing a wide range of classic documentaries for the Music and Arts Department including film specials on Arthur Miller and Merce Cunningham. In 1991 she moved to the Natural History Unit in Bristol where she was a Production Executive on the BBC-2 series The Natural World. In 2003 she returned to her home city of Hull. She freelanced as a Producer/Director whilst studying part time at The University of Hull, graduating 6 years later with a First Class BA (Hons) in Arts and Humanities. She now combines writing and her interest in history and art history with voluntary work at the Ferens Art Gallery, Hull. Her future writing plans include another cat book and an historical fiction novel. She’s looking forward to welcoming a new kitten into her life but hasn’t decided on a name yet.
