Biography
Née en 1969 dans la banlieue de Paris, en France, Claire Panier-Alix a fait des études d'Histoire et s'est spécialisée dans le Moyen-Age. Fan de Tolkien, Meyrinck, Potocki, Charles Fort ou encore Alexandre Dumas, cet auteur prolifique est surtout passionnée par l'archéologie mystérieuse et par les civilisations disparues.
Claire Panier-Alix a publié de nombreuses histoires courtes dans le fandom fancophone avant de publier son premier roman en 2001 aux éditions Nestiveqnen. Sa trilogie, "La Chronique Insulaire", a eu un succès suffisant pour être rachetée par les prestigieuses éditions du Pré aux Clercs. Son roman Sang d'Irah est d'ailleurs actuellement disponible chez cet éditeur.
Claire Panier-Alix a publié de nombreux romans et histoires courtes, ainsi que des articles (surtout sur Tolkien, et l'archéologie mystérieuses). Toutes les informations concernant sa bibliographie complète se trouvent sur son site.
Born in 1969 in the suburbs of Paris, in France, Claire Panier-Alix studied History and specialised in the Middle Ages. Fan of Tolkien, Meyrinck, Potocki, Charles Fort or else Alexandre Dumas, this prolific author is especially enthralled by mysterious archaeology and by lost civilisations. She wrote a novel about one of the myths of the Mayas, published in 2008 by Mango éd.
Claire Panier-Alix published many short stories in the fandom fancophone in the 1990's before publishing her first novel in 2001 by the Editions Nestiveqnen. Her trilogy, " La Chronique Insulaire", had a success enough for being bought back by prestigious editions of le Pré aux Clercs in 2009. Her novel Sang d'Irah, the prequel, is besides currently available at this publisher's.
