More good stuff. Some of it is pretty esoteric, some horrifying (Twitter - my instinctive reaction to that suggestion was a flinch and a groan), but overall Mark covers a lot of unfamiliar territory and does it very well.

Tommie Lyn knows her Highlanders, and it's obvious from the first sentence. Her characters are fully realized and believable, her ear for dialogue is outstanding. First class.

Velan the Reticent is a brilliant, hysterically funny story in its own right, as well as being a perfect homage to Howard, de Camp, etc.
