I grew up in Scotland, and apart from a seven year period in London, have always lived there. I have had many different careers, all of which contribute to my inspirations for writing fiction. My experience of working in Adult Mental Health has been particularly important in teaching me how people can sometimes (and sometimes not) overcome the tallest of hurdles. This dual theme, quite unintentionally, appears to have planted itself at the core of my writing.
Out of the Woods
Jamie has a long history of contact with mental health services; he almost certainly has a personality disorder. Once again, he has hit rock bottom and aims to end his suffering in his local woods at first light. He has a plan, but what he couldn’t have imagined is a dawn encounter that would prove to be a trigger for unusual changes in his life.
