Courtney Jones
Biography
A dedicated wife, mother and lifelong artist, Courtney Jones has taken her love of art, writing and children and has combined all of these passions into writing and illustrating her children's books.
Born in Kansas City Kansas, Courtney has been painting and writing since childhood. After her daughter was born two years ago, Courtney realized that the perfect place to put her talents to work was into children's books after witnessing the joy of her daughter learning and growing. Books played a heavy part in her daughters early development and by Courtney writing her first of many upcoming series "In A Room You Will Find" Courtney hopes to invoke the same passion for learning that books have brought to herself and her daughter. Courtney describes her passion for writing as;
"My ultimate goal is to reach as many young minds as possible and to instill an early passion for reading. It is my dream to awaken the creative and imaginative minds of children and to inspire as many young minds as possible to love learning and to reach for the stars. It is my belief that books are the gateway to the future and I want to take that journey with them through my books."
Courtney's passion to inspire and to promote early learning has been beautifully revealed in her "In A Room" series, taking young minds through a beautifully illustrated tour of everyday items in a household. Fun rhymes and beautiful illustrations teach colors, shapes words and so much more.
Courtney currently resides in San Antonio Texas with her husband and daughter and spends her days creating new books while being a stay at home mom.
