MBA - Moron$ Ba$tard$ and A$$hole$ on Dec. 11, 2013

I'm pretty frugal. I mainly read books written before 1923, if you know what I mean. But I read the sample of this book out of curiosity, and I splurged and bought it! A young man starts his first job at a startup company owned by a mysterious entity only known as "The Shareholder." There are many character actors in the story, all of whom are delineated well even with a few lines of dialogue. Every MBA who gets hired at the company turns out to be less than desirable due to being a moron, bastard, or a--hole. (The moron MBA was my favorite character.) I was happily surprised when reading the sample to find that it's a feel-good book with lots of humor. Not meanspirited in the least. The snappy dialogue is like a "Thin Man" movie only with more four-letter words. All of the chapters are the names of old rock tunes; my only criticism of the book is that he didn't use "Temptation Eyes" as a chapter heading (love that song.) Anyway, this is a very well-written and funny book; highly recommended.
