- Too Near the Edge

This book was well done all the way around. The characters were believable, the plot was suspenseful, and it was well edited. The main character, Cleo, was so relatable and I just couldn't wait to see what she was going to do next. I will definitely be reading the next book in her series.

At the beginning of the story, I really didn't like the main character because she was so self-focused, but as her story unfolded, she evolved into a more grounded and likable person. I think that many young adults go through a similar kind of maturing process, so it is a believable portrayal. The story was over-all pretty good and had some unexpected turns which added to the suspense factor. I will look forward to reading more stories from this author to see how her writing style evolves.
